Many people have asked me where I came up of the name "Honeycomb Alpacas" .   I am also a beekeeper with over 50 years experience keeping honeybees.    Thhoneycomb shape is a hexagonal pattern formed by the arrangement of hexagonal cells.   The hexagonal shape is very strong and efficient which makes it the perfect shape for honeybees.     With "Honeycomb Alpacas", I strive to make each alpaca perfect.    This involves careful diet, breeding, and loving care.    

I always have several alpacas for sale.    All my alpacas are show alpacas which means they come from known lineage and are of high quality.   They can be used for breeding, pets, fiber production or as show animals.   Each alpaca is unique in their personality, size, fiber quality and age.    I will several listed on this website and can ship Alpacas anywhere in the US.  It is generally best to arrange I call so I can help you with the selection of the alpaca which would best suit your needs.  

Alpaca fiber can be purchased in different forms.   Raw alpaca fiber is basically a bag of the fiber that is directly off the alpaca from shearing.   The cost of a a bag of fiber is $45.00 and can be shipped to most most locations in the US for $12.00.   There is also yarn options available and there will be pictures with more specific information on yarn.  

Alpaca manure is an excellent fertilizer for gardens and plants because it is high in nutrients that plants utilize to grow.   The alpaca manure is rich in nutrients and has relatively mild odor and it is easy to handle because it is drienr thhean many other types of manure.   In addition becasue the alpacas have a 3 chambered stomach their manure has a lower risk of containing pathogens such s E. coli , than manure from other animals.  The price of the alpaca manure is $15.00 for a bag that fit
